CMC Plumbing, Heating, and Cooling grew out of a family relationship. It began in 1974 as Gleason Plumbing. In 2004, Shawn Cadieux, the company’s President, and his uncle, Vice-President Mike Gleason, decided to combine their skills and talents, and founded CMC. As fully licensed Master Plumbers with nearly 50 years of combined experience, the two shared a deep commitment to expert workmanship, as well as a knack for providing a personable touch to their work. It wasn’t long before they found they were warming not just the homes, but also the hearts, of their clients. Thus the identity of CMC Plumbing, Heating, and Cooling was forged.

Shawn Cadieux, President of CMC, truly embodies this identity. Shawn stands out among others in his field. His pursuit of, and dedication to, excellence is well known among both his clients and fellow contractors. Both personally and professionally, Shawn sets an example for others by his constant efforts to improve himself and his contribution to people. He works tirelessly to remain on the leading edge of knowledge and innovation in his field. His continuing research and education ensures that CMC can bring the newest and best technologies and services to its clients.  Though his expertise in the Plumbing and HVAC trade is noteworthy, it is his skill at relationships that makes Shawn truly special, not just as a service provider, but also as the head of a company. Few in his field share as strong a commitment to treating others with generosity and respect as he has. He brings a friendliness and courtesy to his relationships not just with clients, but also with his employees and even fellow contractors.  He is regularly praised for his careful attention to detail, his reliability, and his concern for others. More than this, though, he’s just a nice guy to be around.
